Thank You, Stephanie!

Farewell to Stephanie Carpenter, our Director of Finance and Operations! Stephanie has worked at UC Habitat for nearly two years, and during that time she's had a monumental impact on the organization.

"My work with Habitat has been the most meaningful of my entire career," she says. "Learning the ins and outs of a large non-profit, seeing all the programs that work together under the Habitat umbrella, and seeing first-hand the impact on families that are buying the homes, receiving repairs, and even the employees and their families—has all been eye-opening."

Q&A with Stephanie

What's your favorite memory of working at UC Habitat? "Seeing kiddos run through their new home they and their family worked hard to buy during the house blessing."
What's your favorite UC Habitat event? "Cooking on the Square!"
What have you loved about your job? "Seeing how Habitat is more than building houses; it's community in every sense of the word. Seeing strangers come together for a common cause and watching the ripple effect has been immeasurable."

Though Stephanie is stepping down from her position, she plans on staying involved and will continue to support the mission.

"I am now even more excited to serve this wonderful mission in other ways!"

Thank you, Stephanie!
