I have worked on a couple of other Habitat homes and have always found the experience to be incredibly rewarding. If our team is the top fundraiser, we will get the honor of "raising the walls" on the first day of this Women's Build Habitat home. After putting in many hours working on other Habitat homes (we call it sweat-equity), the home owners purchase their home through affordable interest-free mortgages.
